Power-on indicator

• The indicator is illuminated: The notebo ok is switched on.
• The indicator flashes (1 second on/1 second off): The notebook is in power
saving mode.
• The indicator is not illuminated: The notebook is switched off or is in
Save-to-Disk m ode.
Battery charg ing indicato r
• The indicator lights up green: The mains adapter is connected and the installed
battery or batteries are alre ady fully charged, or no battery is installed.
• The indicator lights up orang e: T h e mains adapter is con nected and the
installed battery or batteries are being charged.
•Theindicatorflashes orange: The mains adapter is connected and the installed
battery or batteries cannot be charged (the battery is too hot for charging).
• The indicator is not illuminated: The mains adapter is not connected.

• The indicator lights up green: The first battery is charged to between 51% and
100% of maximum capa city.
• The indicator slowly flashes green (1 seco nd on/5 seconds off): The notebook
is in suspend mode and power is being supplied by the firs t battery. The first
battery is charged to between 51% and 100% of maximum capacity.
• The indicato r lights up orange: The mains adapter is connected and the first
battery is being charged. The first battery is charged to between 13% and
50% of maximum capacity.
• The indicator slowly flashes orange (1 second on/5 seconds off): The notebook
is in suspend mode and power is being supplied by the firs t battery. The first
battery is charged to between 13% and 50% of maximum capacity.
• The indicator flashes orange (for four seconds after installing the battery): The
battery charge level is being checke d.
• The indicator lights up red: The mains adapter is connected and the first
battery is being c harged. The first battery is charged to between 0% and 1 2%
of maximum capacity.
• The indicator slowly flashes red (1 second on/5 seconds off): The notebook
is in suspend mode and power is being supplied by the firs t battery. The first
battery is cha rged to between 0% and 12% of maximum capacity.
• The indicator flashes red (1 second on/1 second off). Malfunction.
• The indicator is not illuminated: The first battery is not installed o r is n ot charged.
