Indicator Description
Energy saving functions indicator
• The indicator is illuminated: The energy saving functions are enabled (e.g.
reduce screen brightness).
• The indicator is not illuminated: The e nergy saving functions have been
disabled.
Drive indicator

The indicator is illuminated: The h ard disk drive or the CD/DVD in the optical drive
of th e notebook is being accessed.
Num Lock indicator

The indicator is illuminated: The

key has been pressed. Th e virtual
numerical k eypad is activated. You can output the characters indicated on the
upper right of the keys.
Caps Lock indicator

The indicator is illuminated: The Caps Lock key ha s been pressed. All the
characters you type will appear in upper case. In the case of overlay keys, the
character printed on the upper left of the key will appear when that key is pressed.
