Switching on the notebook

► Press on the unlocking lever (1 ).

The monitor is unlocked.
► Lift up the LCD monitor (2).
► Press the ON /O FF swit
ch for about one
second to switch the
notebook on.

The pow er-on indicator of the notebook lights up.
Notebook: switching off
Back up your data and close all applications before you switch off y our
device. Otherwise data might be lost.
► Shut down the operating system properly
(e. g. from the Windows Start menu, by
clicking on Start – Shut Down – OK).
Notebook
► If the notebook is not switched off
automatically, press the O N/O FF switch
for approx. five seconds.
► Close the L CD screen.
