Working with the notebook
Power-on indicator
Indicator is lit The notebook is switched on.
Indicator is
flashing
The notebook is in power saving mode.
Indicator is not
lit
The notebook is switched off or is in Save-to-Disk mode.
Battery charging indicato
r
White: The mains adapter is connected and the battery or batteries
installed is/are fully charged.
Indicator is lit
Orange:
The mains adapter is connected and the battery or batteries
installed is/are being charged.
Indicator is
flashing
Orange:
The mains adapter is connected and the battery or batteries
installed cannot be charged (the b attery is too hot for charging).
Indicator is not
lit
The mains adapter is not connected.
In sleep mode (S4)
and when switched off (S5), the battery but ton
provides information
on the state of cha
rge of the two batteries. Press the button and the battery indicator lights up.
