The design of your n otebook enables the ﬂexible use of notebook batteries and drives. The

following mo dules can be operated in the module ba y of your no tebook:

• Second battery

• Second hard disk drive

• Optical drive

• Empty plug-in unit (save weight)

Only use modules designed for your notebook.

Do not use force when installing or removing the module.

Make sure that no foreign objects enter the module bay.

You can swa p modules during operation. This means you do not

need to switch off the notebook.

To replace a m odule, simply click on the corresponding icon in the

task bar and then on Exit or Select - Exit.

The module can now be removed without any further actions being necessary.

► Slide the release mechanism (1) in the direction of the arrow and hold.

► Now pull the module (2) out of the module bay.
