Cause Troubleshooting
Time and date are incorrect. ► With the BIOS -Setup-Utility,
you can set the
date and time in the main menu.
If the date an d time are repeatedly incorrect when you switch o n the notebook,
the built-in battery that supplies the internal clock has failed.

outlet or our Hotline/Service Desk.
Battery indicator does not illuminate
Cause
Fault elimination
The battery is not installed correctly.
► Switch the notebook off.
► Check whether the battery is installed
correctly in its compartm ent.
► Switch the notebook on.
The battery is fully discharged. ► Charge the battery.
or
► Install a charged battery.
or
► Connect the notebook to a mains outlet
using the mains adapter.
