The stat us indicators provide information about the statu s of the power supply,
the drives and the keyboard functions.

Power-on indicator/St andby
StandbyindicatorPowerindicator
• The indicator is lit: T he notebook is switched on.
• The indicator flashes: T he notebook is in standby mode.
• The indicator is not lit: The notebook is switched off.
Remaining battery life ind icator
The charging state of the battery is shown by the rechargeable battery
indicator.
• The indicator lights up white: The battery is charged.
• The indicator is illuminated (orange): The mains adapter is connected
and the battery is being charged.
• The indicator flashes red: a fault has occurred.
• The indicator is not illuminated: the mains adapter is not connected.
