Battery charging indicator/po
wer connector
The state of charge of the batter
y is shown by the battery indicator.
With mains adapter connected:
• The indicator lights up white
: The battery is fully charged.
• The indicator lights up ora nge: The battery is charging.
• The indicator flashes orang
e: The mains adapter is connected bu t the
battery cannot be charged
as the battery is to o hot or too cold for
charging. The charging pr
ocess is continued as soon as the battery
has r eached a permissibl
e temperature again.
• The indicator is off: The syste m is in battery operation and the mains
adapter is not connected.

Caps Lock indicator

you type will appear in upper case. In the case of overlay keys, the
character printed on the upper left of the key will appe ar when that ke y
is pressed.
Wireless components indicator
• The indicator is lit: The wireless components are switched on.
• The indicator is not lit: T he wireless components are switched off.
•Theindicatorisflashing: vPro is activated. The radio compone nts are
enabled when the notebook is in standby mode, hibernate mode or
is switched off.
