Extended Memory
Increasing memory is an effective way to improve the scanners processing speed when scanning at high
resolutions. (For example, this may prevent the scanner from pausing when scanning double-sided color
A3 documents at resolutions higher than 400 dpi).
1. Switch off the scanners main power switch, unplug all connecting
cables.
2. Unscrew the back cover of the scanner and take it off.
3. Insert the memory into the slot, and push down the module until it locks
in position.
4. Put back the cover and tighten the screw.
ATTENTION
Before you install extended memory, please first touch metal objects to
release static.
