KEY/BUTTON PAD
The Stylistic CT2000 Series CE Tablet has a handy key/
button pad that can be used for performing a variety of
functions. Reference Figure 1-8. for the location of the
various indicators, keys, and buttons; reference Table 1-
1. and Table 1-2. for a description of each item.

FUNCTION BUTTONS
The four function buttons are located on bottom of the
key/button pad (See Figure 1-8.).
For details on using and programming the function
buttons, refer to “Programming the Function Buttons”
on page 17.
Power/Charging LED - Battery Power
System State LED State
Going into
Suspend
Green while the power button is
pressed, then the system suspends.
Resuming from
Suspend
Green, continuous while Power
button depressed, then system
resumes
Booting up Green, continuous until boot
complete
Battery Fault Red, continuous
Off The LED is off.
Power/Charging LED - AC Power

into a true power-off

Numeric
Keypad
Acts like a standard
10-key numeric
keypad for doing
calculations.
For use in an open
editor, such as
WordPad.
Enter Key Acts like an Enter
key on a keyboard.
Clear
Button
Acts like a full-
screen eraser when
you are entering
data with
Transcriber.
4-Way
Navigation
Keys
Allow you to move
the cursor up or
down and left or
right.
Decimal
Point
Used in conjunction
with the numeric
keypad
Backspace
Button
Acts like the
Backspace key on a
keyboard.
Brightness
Buttons
Allows you to adjust
the brightness of the
display.
Cycles through four
levels.
Function
Buttons
Enables quick-
launch of the
assigned
applications.
The function buttons
are pre-programmed
to launch certain
applications. Refer to
“Programming the
Function Buttons”
on page 17 for the
assigned defaults.
