Webcam
Webcam
Your device has two webcams: one on the front of the device and one on the rear.
Depending on the software u
sed, you can use your webcam to take pictures,
record video clips or take p
art in web chats.
• The picture quality depen
ds on the lighting conditions and the software being used.
• Yo u can only operate the webcam with a particular application (e.g. an Internet telephony
program or a video conferencing program which supports a webcam).
• When using the webcam the
support of the Tablet PC must not wobble.
• The webcam automatically adjusts itself to the current light level. For this reason,
the touchscreen may flicker while th e light level is adjuste d.

Rechargeable battery

The built-in battery provides the Tablet PC with the necessary power f or use on the move.
You can increase the service life of the battery by caring for the battery properly. The
average battery service life is around 500 charge/discharge cycles.
You can extend the battery service life by taking advantage of th e available energy-saving functions.
Charging and maintaining the battery

battery can only be charged w hen the ambient temperature is
between 5°C /
41 °F a nd max. 35°C / 95°F.
You can char
ge the battery by connecting the Tablet PC to the AC adapter
(see "
Conne
cting the AC adapter", Page 19).
If the batt
ery is running low you will hear a warning alarm. If you do not connect the AC adapter
within five
minutes of hearing the warning alarm, your Tablet PC will switch off au tomatically.
