Troubleshooting and tips
The display on the Tablet PC’s touchscreen
is difficult to read.

Reflected glare ► Move the Tablet PC into a different position.
► Incre ase the brightness of the screen.
The external monitor remains blank

The externa l monitor’s AC cable or data cable is
not connected properly.
► Switch off the Tablet PC and the external
monitor.
► Ch eck whether the AC cable is plugged
properly into the external monitor and into
the power outlet.
► Ch eck that the da ta cable is properly
connected to the Tablet PC and the external
monitor (if it is plugged in with a connector).
► Switch on the external monitor and the
Tablet PC.
The external monitor is blank or the image is unstable

Cause Troub leshooting
The wrong external monitor h as been selected
or the wrong screen resolution has been set for
the application program.
► Terminate the applic ation program in
Windows. If the erro r persists after
terminating the program, use the k ey
combination for switching the scree n o utput
in order to switch to the touchscreen of the
Tablet PC. C hange the following setting:
► Set the screen resolution: Se t the screen
resolution as d escribed in the documentation
foryouroperatingsystem.
► Select monitor: Select monitor 1 or 2 as
described in the documentation for your
operating system.
