1-25, This license comes with the UPS. Up to
three servers can be connected to a UPS
(these servers do not work in a cluster) and
are notified individually by the UPS if there is
imminent danger of a power failure. The
software can manage a UPS. The three
servers can notify a total of up to 25 clients via
LAN of the impending power failure and initiate
shutdown. If a server fails or the client cannot
be reached, the client learns nothing about the
power failure.

UPS Man SW Option CLUSTER 2-3-5-50 This package can be ordered optionally and
addresses a dual-node cluster application. The
number of cluster nodes can be increased by
adding further licenses in grids of 2 (a quad-
node cluster requires 2 licenses). The license
can manage up to 3 groups, each with up to 5
UPS systems. The package is aimed at
distributed cluster applications in which a pool
of parallel UPSs with up to 5 UPSs each is
intended for servers, infrastructure (data
transport) and consolidated storage hardware.
The servers involved can address a total of 50
clients.

UPS Man SW Option ENTERPRISE 25-3-5-50 This package can be ordered optionally and is
designed for power solutions with a powerful
server that can be split into virtual machines
(example: PRIMEPOWER). Configurations
such as in the cluster version can be created
for the distributed environment used by the
virtual server.
