Important keys and keyboard shortcuts

The description of th e following keys and keyboard shortcuts applies to Microsoft
operating systems. Deta ils of o ther keys and keyboard shortcuts can be found in
the documentation for the r elevant application program.

ON/OFFswitchButton,
On/off switch (optional)
Depending on the setting in the BIOS Setup, the device can be switched
on or off with this switch. Some operating systems allow you to congure
additional functions of the ON/OFF switch in the Control Panel.
With some keyboard s the ON/OFF switch can only be used with an ACPI
(Advanced Conguration and Power M anag ement Interface). Otherwise
the key is inoperative. The mainboard must support this function.

Enter key
conrms the highlighted selection. The Enter key is also referred to as
the "Return" key.

calls up the Windows Start menu.
