Removing the module holder with SmartCard reader
and/or WLAN module
► Open the casing (see "Opening the casing", Page 36).
► Disconnect the cables conne c
ted to the modu le holder.

► Remove the screws (1).
► Push the module holder out of the c asing in the direction of the arro w (2).
► Remove the SmartCard reader and W LAN module from the module holder (see "
Removing
the SmartCard reader from the modu le hold er", Page 45 and "Removing the WLAN module
from the m odule holder", Page 45) and install the module holder again (corresponds to
"
Installing the module holder with SmartCa rd r eader and/or WLAN module", Page 43).
or
► Remove the SmartCard reader and WLAN module from the module holder (see "
Removing
the SmartCard reader from the modu le holder", Page 45 and "Remov ing the WLAN module
from th e module holder", Page 45) and install a blind cover in the drive bay.
► Close the casing (see "
Closing the casing" , Page 37).
