Windows 10 Procedures
It is very important that yo u create your Recovery D rive before beginning to use your sy stem.
It is also importan t that you create a backup of the content of the C:\Drivers on your
system to writable media or an external d rive. System-specicsoftwaredriversare
also available for d ownload through the Fujitsu support site.

Creating a recovery drive
A recovery drive can h
elp you troubleshoot and x problems with your PC, even if it won’t
start. To create one
, all you need is a USB ash drive. Windows will inform you of the size

1. From the taskbar, s
earch for Create a recovery d rive and then select it. You may be
asked to enter an ad
ministrator password or c onrm your selection.
2. When the tool opens, make sure Backup system les to the recovery drive
is selected and then select Next.
3. Connect a USB driv
e to y our PC, select it, and then select Next - Create. A large number of
les need to be c
opied to the recovery drive, s o this could take some time.
4. When it’s done, select Finish.
Note:
If you chose no
t to back up the system les when you created your recovery drive on
Windows 10, yo
u w on’t be able to use it to reinstall Windows.
Recovery options in Windows 10
If your PC isn’t running as quickly or reliably as it used to, try one of these recovery
options. T he following table can help you decide which one to use.

Restore from a system restore point
This option takes your PC back to an earlier point in time, called a system restore point. Restore
points are generated when you install a new app, driver, or Windows update, and w hen you
