Using the pow er-saving functions

The Tablet PC uses less power wh en the power-saving functions a re enabled. You will then
be ab le to work lon ger when using the battery before having to recharge it.
The energy efciency is increased and environmental pollution is reduced.
By choosing the best power options, you c an make signicant savings and
at the same time help protect the environment.
Set the power-saving fun
ctions in your Control Panel.
When the Tablet PC is in a po w e r-savin g mode, you must remember the following :
During power-saving mode, open data is held in main m emory or
in a swap le on the hard disk.
Never switch off the Tablet PC while it is in a power-savin g mode. If the built-in battery
is nearly at, close all open les and do not go into power-saving mode.
If yo u do not intend to use your Tablet PC for a long perio d of time:
Exit the power-sav
ing mode if necessary by touching the screen or by switching the Tablet
PC on.
Close all opened programs and completely shut down the Tablet PC.

cards to enlarge the storage of your Tablet PC.
Follow the manufacturer’s instructions when handling the memory cards.
