Connecting external devices
Under all circumstances, please observe the safety notes provided in the
"
Important notes", Page 13 chapter before connecting or disconnecting
any devices to or from your Tablet PC.
Always read the documentation supplied with the device you w ish to connect.
Never connect or d isconnect cables during a thundersto rm.
Never pull a t a cable when disconnecting it. Always grasp the plug.
With some devices, such as USB devices, it is not necessary to switch off
the Tablet PC and the device before co nnecting/disconnecting. For more
information about whether or not devices need to be switched off, please refer
to the documentation supplied with your externa l device.
Some of the external devices require special drivers (see the operating
system and external d e vice documentation).
Connecting an external m onitor
microHDMI port
microHDMI-port
The micro HDMI port on your device can be used to connect an external amplier,
LCD TV or a p lasma TV with an HDMI connection.
Connect t he data cable to the
external device.
Connect t he data cable to the
microHDMI port.
Some LCD televisions have only two speakers/speaker ports and therefore
cannot reproduce D olby Digital or DT S. To play back HDMI sound, you
must change the HDMI sound settings accordingly.
You can nd the settings under Control Panel - Hardware and Sound. Deactivate the
settings for DTS Audio and Dolby Digital to enable playback of HDMI sound.
