Using the FM Transmitter
Using the FM Transmitter
Inside of your mobile computer there is an FM Transmitter that allows you to play MP3 songs from your
computer on an FM radio or through your car radio speakers.
Getting started with the FM Transmitter
To begin using the FM Transmitter, perform the following steps:
1 Click Start > All Programs, and select FM Transmitter from the list that appears. FM Transmitter and Help
selections will appear.
2 Click on FM Transmitter. The FM Transmitter window will appear on the display and an FM Transmitter icon will
be placed in the task tray.
Using the software
1 Switch on your car radio and tune your car radio to a frequency that is not being used by a radio station. Note
that if you drive into an area where a radio station transmits on the same frequency you are using for the FM
Transmitter, you may have to use another frequency.
2 Select a transmit frequency using the Frequency Select slider bar in the FM Transmitter window, or use the
buttons located on either side of the [Frequency Select] slider bar to select a transmit frequency.
3 Click the [On] button to enable FM radio transmission.

You can register up to four of your favorite radio frequencies. To do so, follow the steps below:
THE FREQUENCY RANGE IN WHICH THE TRANSMITTER OPERATES IS BETWEEN 89 MHZ AND 98 MHZ.
