Note
The secondary audio will not be output
when the secondary video is not displayed
or when “BD Audio Mode” is set to “HD
Audio Output”. (For some Blu-ray™ discs,
secondary audio will be output even when
secondary video is off.)
The sound mode cannot be changed during
playback of discs not recorded in multiple
audio mode.
Some discs allow changing the audio
language setting on the disc menu.
(Operation varies depending on the discs.
Refer to the manual accompanying the disc.)
[AUDIO] may not work on some discs
with multiple audio streams or channels (e.g.
DVDs that allow changing audio setting on
the disc menu).
If the disc has no audio language, “Not
Available” will be displayed on the TV
screen.
•For discs with DivX
®
files, only MP3, MP2
or Dolby Digital audio is displayed. Other
audio will be displayed with “---”.
For DTS-CD (5.1 music disc), selecting
audio streams or channels are not available.
You can also change the audio setting from
the play menu. Play menu can be called up by
pressing [MODE].
7.13 Switching Camera Angles
Some BD-videos and DVD-videos contain
scenes which have been shot simultaneously
from various angles. You can change the camera
angle when appears on the TV screen.
1 During playback, press [MODE] to display
the play menu.
2Use [K / L] to select “Angle”, then press
[OK].
The selected angle will be displayed on
the display bar at the top of the TV
screen.
3Use [K / L] to select your desired angle.
4Press [RETURN] to exit.

Note
If “Angle Icon” setting is set to “Off”,
will not appear on the TV screen.
7.14 Noise Reduction
Reduces the noise of the playback picture.
1 During playback, press [MODE] to display
the play menu.
2Use [K / L] to select “Noise Reduction”,
then press [OK].
3Use [K / L] to select your desired setting.
e.g.) Blu-ray Disc™
“On”:
Activates noise reduction.
“Off”:
Deactivates noise reduction.
4Press [RETURN] to exit.

Note
The setting will remain the same even if the
unit is switched to standby mode.
7.15 Virtual Surround
You can enjoy stereophonic virtual space
through your existing 2 channel stereo system.
1 During playback, press [MODE] to display
the play menu.
2Use [K / L] to select “Virtual Surround”,
then press [OK].
3Use [K / L] to select your desired setting.
e.g.) Blu-ray Disc™
“On”:
Activates surround effects.
“Off”:
Deactivates surround effects.
4Press [RETURN] to exit.

Note
Set the virtual surround setting to “Off” or
lower the volume if the sound is distorted.
For the virtual surround, audio signal will
always be 2-channel LPCM.
