CONNECTIONS
1 Connect the speaker cables to the matching colour sockets on the speakers.
2 Connect all the speakers and subwoofer to the matching sockets at the rear of the main unit.
Make sure that the colours of the cables and sockets are matched.
This unit provides analogue and digital audio connection. You can connect the audio output from an audio / video
device (e.g. DVD Recorder, VCR, Cable / Satellite Box, game console or TV) to this Blu-ray Disc home theater in order to
enjoy the multi-channel surround sound capabilities.
• Use an audio cable (not supplied) to connect the AUDIO IN (AUX) jacks on the main unit to the audio output jacks on
the connected device.
• Use a digital audio coaxial cable (not supplied) to connect the DIGITAL AUDIO IN (Coaxial) jack on the main unit to the
digital audio coaxial output jack on the connected device.
Connecting Speakers and Subwoofer
Note
• To prevent unwanted noise, never place the speakers too close to the main unit, subwoofer, AC power adapter, TV or
any other radiation sources.
Connecting Audio from Cable Box / Recorder / Game Console or TV
No supplied cables are used in this connection:
Please purchase the necessary cables at your local store.
Note
• To listen to the audio output from these connections, select “Speakers” in “Audio Output” (refer to page 43) and
change the active source mode to the connected input. (Refer to “Switching Active Source Mode” on page 32.)
