FUNCTION SETUP
You can confirm the current software version.
1 In stop mode, press [SETUP].
2 Use [K / L] to select , then press [ENTER].
3 Use [K / L] to select , then press [ENTER].
4 Use [K / L] to select “Software Update”, then
press [ENTER].
5 Use [K / L] to select “Current Version”, then
press [ENTER].
6 Press [ENTER] or [RETURN] to exit.
You can update the software by using disc.
1 Prepare a software update disc:
Please access www.funai.eu
, and download
the latest software to a blank disc by following
the direction described on the site.
• Use a blank disc and download one software per a
disc.
• For more details on how to download the software,
please refer to the site.
2 Follow steps 1 to 4 in “Current Version” on
page 49.
3 Use [K / L] to select “Disc Update”, then press
[ENTER].
• Confirmation message will appear.
4 Use [K / L] to select “Yes”, then press [ENTER].
• Disc tray will open automatically.
• Insert the software update disc created at step 1 and
then press [OPEN/CLOSE A].
5 After completing loading disc, confirmation
message will appear. Select “Yes” and press
[ENTER] to start updating.
• It may take a while to complete the updating.
6 After the disc update finishes, this unit will
restart and eject the disc automatically.
You can update the software by connecting the unit to the
Internet.
1 Follow steps 1 to 4 in “Current Version” on
page 49.
2 Use [K / L] to select “Network Update”, then
press [ENTER].
3 Use [K / L] to select “Yes”, then press [ENTER].
• This unit will then start checking for the latest
software version.
4 Confirmation message will appear.
Select “Yes”, then press [ENTER].
• The unit will start downloading the latest software
version.
5 When the download completes, confirmation
message will appear. Press [ENTER].
• The unit will start updating the software version.
• It may take a while to complete the updating.
6 After updating finishes, this unit will restart
and open the disc tray automatically.

Note
• Please visit www.funai.eu to download the latest
software version.
Disc Update
Note
• You can check the current software version in
“Current Version” in “Software Update” menu.
• Please do not unplug the mains cable while
executing “Disc Update”.
• All settings will remain the same even if you update
the software version.
Network Update
Note
• In order to update the software via the Internet, you
must connect the unit to the Internet and set up
necessary settings.
• For the network connection, refer to “Network
Connection with LAN” on page 14.
• For the network setup, refer to “Network
Connection” on pages 46
-48 .
• Please do not unplug the mains cable or LAN cable
while executing the “Network Update”.
• All settings will remain the same even if you update
the software version.
• The disc tray will open automatically after updating
finishes. This is not a malfunction.
