Using a Remote Control
Remote Control Usage Guidelines:
Make sure that there are no obstacles
between the remote control and the
infrared sensor window on the unit.
Remote operation may become unreliable
if strong sunlight or fluorescent light is
shining on the infrared sensor window of
the unit.
Remote control for different devices can
interfere with each other. Avoid using
remote control for other device located
close to the unit.
Replace the battery when you notice a fall
off in the operating range of the remote
control.
The maximum operable ranges from the
unit are as follows.
- Line of sight: approx. 7 m
- Either side of the centre: approx. 5 m
within 30°
- Above: approx. 5 m within 15°
- Below: approx. 3 m within 30°

Rotating and Folding the LCD
Screen
You can rotate and fold the LCD screen as
shown below.
1 Open the LCD screen to the vertical
position. Then slowly rotate the
screen 180 degrees in the clockwise
direction.

2 Push the screen down onto the
main body of the unit.
Caution
There may be 0.01% or less chance of
missing or constantly turned on pixels
on the LCD screen. This is not a
malfunction.
Do not place the unit with the LCD
screen side down when the screen is
open. This may scratch the surface of
the LCD screen.
Do not rotate the screen over 180
degrees. It may cause a damage to the
unit.
Do not insert a finger between the
screen and the main body of the unit
when rotating the screen.
Note
To return the LCD screen to its original
position, open the screen to a vertical
position and rotate it slowly counter-
clockwise.
