• Press [AOPEN] on the unit to open the
disc lid and remove the disc.
Note
• You can check the current software
version in “Current Version” in “Software
Update” menu.
• Please do not disconnect the AC
adapter while executing the ”Disc
Update”.
• All settings will remain the same even if
you update the so
ftware version.
• The version of Netflix will also be
updated if newer version of Netflix is
available when updating the software.
• After updating finishes, a message will
appear. This me
ssage will not be
cleared until the disc is removed from
the unit.
• “Disc Update” is available only when the
AC adapter is connected.
• After the start of “Disc Update”, LCD
screen may become black after a little
while. Please do not try to operate th
e
unit as updating is still in progress.
(Screen will get back to normal after
updating finishes.)
• While executing the ”Disc Update”,
CHARGE indicator and STANDBY/ON
indicator flash alternately.
Network Update
You can update the software by connecting
the unit to the Internet.
1 Follow steps 1 to 4 in “Current
Version” on page 56.
2 Use [K / L] to select “Network
Update”, then press [OK].
3 Use [K / L] to select “Yes”, then
press [OK].
• This unit will then start checking for the
latest software version.
4 Confirmation message will appear.
Select “Yes”, then press [OK].
• The unit will start downloading the
latest software version.
5 When the download completes,
confirmation message will appear.
Press [OK].
• The unit will start updating the software
version.
• It may take a while to complete the
updating.
6 After updating finishes, this unit
will restart.
Note
• In order to update the software via the
Internet, you must connect the unit to
the Internet and set up necessary
settings.
• For the network connection, refer to
“Connection to the Network” on page 15.
• For the network setup, refer to “Network
Connection” on pages 5
1-56.

Initialize
[SETUP]
A
“Initialize”
Initialize the settings, SD Memory Card,
network setting or deactivate Netflix.
1 In stop mode, press [SETUP].
2 Use [K / L] to select , then press
[OK].
3 Use [K / L] to select a desired
option, then press [OK].
“Reset Settings”:
Resets the setup menu to the default.
