suppression

eliminates

Traditional
surge
suppression circuits
sacrifice
themselves

exposed

transient
voltage

trusted
over-voltage
(EVS)
circuitry

against

overvoltage

It
does
so
by
monitoring
the
incoming
voltage
and,

an
unsafe
condition
is
detected,
triggering
a
relay
which
shuts
off
the
incoming
power
until
the
overvoltage
condition
is
corrected.
The
unit
will
reset
automatically
when
voltage
is
returned
to
a
safe
level.
