AIRMAR P66
Housing Style Differences
The Airmar P66 transducer housing is available in two different styles, called Style “A”
and Style “B.” Although the electrical and acoustical characteristics of these transducers
are identical, the housing is not the same and care must be taken when replacing the
bracket for the P66 transducer.
The purpose of this document is to describe the differences between the two housing
styles, and also to list the correct Furuno part numbers for the bracket should it require
replacement.
P66 Housing Style “A”
Housing has complete hole
through which cable passes where
it exits the transducer.
P66 Housing Style “B”
Housing has cutout where cable
exits the transducer instead of a
hole in the housing.
Mounting Bracket
