properly

locked,

this

end

cap

provides

a

water

tight

cover.

NOTICE

The

end

cap

must

be

properly

inserted

and

locked

to

achieve

the

IPX?

water

rating.

The

stereo

is

water

resistant

without

the

end

cap,

but

to

prevent

damage

to

the

USB

and

power

connectors,

insert

and

lock

the

end

cap

when

using

the

stereo

on

or

near

water,

especially

saltwater.

If

the

connectors

get

wet,

rinse

them

thoroughly

with

fresh

water

and

allow

to

dry

before

using

the

stereo

again.

The

end

cap

does

not

float

and

is

not

tethered

to

the

stereo.

Use

caution

when

removing

it.

NOTE:

The

other

end

of

the

stereo

provides

a

place

for

you

to

connect

a

lanyard

to

tether

the

stereo.

To

prevent

corrosion,

thoroughly

dry

the

power

port

and

the

surrounding

area

before

charging.

NOTE:

The

battery

will

not

charge

when

outside

the

temperature

range

of

1

oo

to

45°C

(50°

to

113°F).

You

should

fully

charge

the

battery

before

you

use

the

stereo

for

the

first

time.

Charging

a

fully

depleted

battery

takes

about

3

hours.

Twist

the

end

cap

counter-clockwise

and

pull

off

the

cap.

Plug

the

power

cable

into

the

power

port.

Plug

the

AC

power

adaptor

into

a

standard

wall

outlet.

When

the

battery

is

charging,

the

LED

is

on.

Charge

the

battery

completely.

It

takes

approximately

3

hours

to

fully

charge

the

battery.

The

LED

turns

off

when

the

stereo

is

fully

charged.

Remove

the

power

cable.

Insert

the

end

cap

and

twist

it

clockwise

as

far

as

it

will

turn,

aligning

the

dot

on

the

cap

with

the

li

on

the

stereo.

NOTICE

The

end

cap

must

be

properly

inserted

and

locked

to

achieve

the

I

PX7

water

rating.

The

stereo

is

water

resistant

without

the

end

cap,

but

to

prevent

damage

to

the

USB

and

power

connectors,

insert

and

lock

the

end

cap

when

using

the

stereo

on

or

near

water,

especially

saltwater.

If

the

connectors

get

wet,

rinse

them

thoroughly

with

fresh

water

and

allow

to

dry

before

using

stereo
