Before You Begin:

Installation
Step 1: At each end of the top rail, place a deck board bracket
up against the previously installed top rail bracket cover. Space
the remaining 2 brackets evenly apart at 22
1
/
2
" (uncut system).
Step 2: Lay the bracket across the top rail and center the
bracket. The bracket should run perpendicular to the top rail
(Figure 1).
Step 3: Pre-drill holes in the two holes over the top rail using
a 1" counter-sink drill bit (Figure 2).
Step 4: Using two of the 1" stainless steel Phillips pan head
screws supplied, insert the screws in the two pre-drilled holes
so that the bracket is secured to the top rail. Make sure that
the two inner holes of the bracket are chamfered (angled) side
up. This will allow for the screw to sit flush when the bracket is
fastened to the top rail.
Step 5: Repeat steps 3 and 4 with the three remaining
brackets.
