1. Plan your layout.
Determine the size and layout of your
porch including any stairs.
2. Determine length.
QuickRail
®
Systems are available in six and eight foot lengths. For
stair applications, six-foot system lengths are available. (Additional
lengths available through special order.) Check local building codes
for height requirements.
3. Determine if accessory Brackets are needed.
Brackets come standard in your rail kit. Should you need additional
brackets, they are available to join QuickRail
®
Systems to posts,
columns, and the exterior structure of the home or building.
4. Choose a spindle style and color.
Spindles are available in Square or Colonial style in a white or tan finish.
5. Determine how many kits are needed.
Based on the previous steps, determine the number and type of kit
needed for the project. For flat surfaces, choose straight kits. For stair
applications, choose stair kits. (Refer to step one.)
6. Determine QuickRail
®
accessories needed.
QuickRail
®
accessories include Complete Post Kits, Post Sleeves,
QuickPost
®
Porch Posts, Caps and Bases, as well as Bracket Kits.
All accessories coordinate with the QuickRail
®
System and must be
purchased separately.
7. Finalize Material List.
