The Global Navigation menu background reflects G6’s current event status and the last menu
item you navigated from is highlighted.
The available Global Navigation menu items are:
Home
Select Home to return to the Home screen.
Compliance
Select Compliance to access information and features related to G6 bump testing,
calibration, and zeroing.

Gas options
Select Gas options to view information about logged gas readings. Use the Gas
options feature to reset a device’s gas reading values. View and manage information
related to the following gas readings:
Peak gas
— Peak gas is not a live reading; it is the highest registered gas reading a
device has experienced through one or more gas events in a 24-hour period. The
reading and the time and date when it occurred are displayed.
Short Term Exposure Limit (STEL)
— STEL is the gas concentration that you can be
continuously exposed to for a configurable time frame without suffering adverse
health effects. STEL represents the rolling average of a live gas reading over the
duration of the pre-configured time interval.
