GACOROOF COMPLIANT GR1600C & GR1628C

LOW ODOR/ CALIFORNIA COMPLIANT SILICONE

DESCRIPTION:

GacoRoof is a single component elastomeric air dry silicone rubber coating that can be applied

year round on properly prepared substrates. GacoRoof Compliant is designed for regions

requiring less than 50 g/l per liter VOC for roof coatings. Due to its low odor attributes, GacoRoof

Compliant can be in areas were low coating fumes are desirable.

USAGE:

GacoRoof is designed as a protective coating to seal and repair existing roofs and permanently

protect against leaks, permanent ponding water, and the damaging effects of severe weather.

COLORS:

GR1600C White, GR1628C Gray

LIMITATIONS:

Not for use on 3-tab asphalt or architectural shingles. May require multiple coats to create a

seamless membrane. May require GacoFlex E5320 2-Part Epoxy Primer/Filler. Verify adhesion

with a GacoRoof AdhesionTestKit.

WEATHERABILITY:

Excellent durability, color stability and chalk resistance.

TOXICITY:

Not for use in contact with edible substances or potable water.

ADHESION:

Bonds to aged asphalt, aged EPDM, aged TPO/CPA, built-up, cap sheet, composite, concrete,

fiberglass, metal, modified bitumen, torchdown, sprayed polyurethane foam and most existing

coatings on flat or sloped roofs.

GacoRoof Compliant GR1600C & GR1628C 2 PACKAGED PRODUCT DATA THEORETICAL COVERAGE: 100 Sq. Ft./Gallon (9.3 Sq. Meters/3.8 L) to yield 11 dry mils on a smooth surface. Coverage rate may decrease on textured surfaces, and more coating will likely be used on first coat than on additional coats. Smooth roofs can be completed in 2 coats, lightly textured surfaces often require 3 coats, and heavily textured surfaces may require 4 coats to achieve a final 22 mil film build. GacoRoof Compliant GR1600C & GR1628C 3 CLEAN UP: Application tools and equipment can be cleaned with GacoFlex Silicone Solvent or 100% Pure Mineral Spirits. DO NOT USE WATER OR RECLAIMED SOLVENTS. Once a container of GacoRoof is opened, the curing process has started. Use the entire product on your project if possible. Allow any remaining product in the container to solidify and dispose of in the proper manner. MAINTENANCE: Roof structures may settle over time.
