Familiarizing yourself with your appliance
This Use and Care Manual covers several models. Your
model may have some but not all of the features listed.

Oven cavity
The oven cavity has three shelf levels. Count the shelf lev-
els from the bottom up.
NOTICE:
A build-up of heat could damage the appliance.
▶ Ensure that the oven cavity floor always remains clear.
▶ Do not place anything directly on the oven cavity floor.
▶ Do not line the oven cavity floor with aluminum foil.
▶ Always place cookware in the perforated cooking con-
tainer or on the wire rack.
The accessories may tip.
▶ Do not push the accessories between the shelf posi-
tions.
When steaming, defrosting, dough proving and reheating,
you can use up to three shelf levels at a time. You can
only bake on one level. Use level 2 for baking or, for taller
baking tins, use level 1. For very small baked goods, you
can also use two levels, e.g. level 1 and level 3.
Water tank for descaling program
Your appliance is equipped with a water tank with a maxi-
mum capacity of 1.7liters.

Controls
You can use the control panel to configure all functions of
your appliance and to obtain information about the operat-
ing status.
On certain models, specific details such as color and
shape may differ from those pictured.
Depending on the appliance variant, the function selector
and rotary selector are above or below the display.
All appliance types are operated in an identical manner.
