•You must read and follow all of these installation instructions. Failure to follow the
installation instructions may result in serious bodily injury or death.
•Do not install or use the 90 Degree Side Step Assembly (p/n 7160-0106) in the area in
which the airbag on the vehicle may be deployed. The installer and user of the 90 Degree
Side Step Assembly (p/n 7160-0106) are responsible for installing and using the 90 Degree
Side Step Assembly (p/n 7160-0106) outside the area in which an airbag may be deployed.

•Keep these installation instructions with the product and readily available in the vehicle
for future reference of other users of the product.
•Additional copies of the installation instructions can be obtained from Gamber-Johnson.

1. Attach the 90 Degree Side Step to
the MCS Wide Top Plate (p/n
7160-0085 or 7160-0086) using the
two .38-16 x .75 Hex Head Bolts and
two washers included in hardware
bag 7120-0093 as shown in FIG 1.
2. Attach the DS-Lower Pole using
the hardware provided with the pole.
Attach the desired DS-Upper,
Motion Device, and Computer
Docking Station or Cradle as
desired.
