5.2 General
To use the GAT Access 6100 terminals the user must have an RFID data carrier (user-id) in the form of a card,
wristband or any other form. The data carriers must be of a supported technology:
- GAT Access 6100 B: LEGIC
®
- GAT Access 6100 ISO: ISO 15693
- GAT Access 6100 F: MIFARE
- GAT Access 6100 F BIO: MIFARE
- GAT Access 6100 F Enrollment Station: MIFARE
- GAT TimeAxx 6150: MIFARE
In the normal operation mode the GAT Access 6100 show the start screen, asking for a data carrier (Figure 5.2).
The language to use for the display texts is set in the functionality settings (see "Configuration Settings"). The RFID
scan field flashes blue. The relay output is not activated.
The standard operating mode of a GAT Access 6100 Enrollment Station is the Offline Emergency Mode, where the
start screen looks like shown in Figure 5.3.
