For safe wiring and fastening, consult the National Electrical
Code and your local electrical inspector. Do not use on portable
cords. Shut off power before working on a circuit. Unit is best
used when operator applies 55lbs of pressure, while holding
the unit as directed.

LOADING
1. Push in feeder, then pull
down and out to remove
staple feeder. Fig 1.
2. Insert a staple sleeve into
the metal staple channel.
Channel is designed to
accommodate one sleeve
at a time. Fig 2.
3. Replace staple feeder by
pushing in and up to lock
into position. Make sure
mechanism is latched and
secure before use. Fig 3.
FRONT CABLE GUIDE USAGE
Front cable guide will only engage when side
marked “FRONT” is facing forward. Fig 4. Inserting
incorrectly will result in the guide falling out or only
going in part way and will not engage.
SECURING CABLE
1. Determine type and size
of cable to be secured.
Match that to the correct
staple and cable guide
end, BLUE or WHITE/
BLACK. Insert guide
into gun with this end
exposed. Fig 5.
2. Load appropriate staples.
See Loading and Staple
Application Chart.
3. Place gun and front cable guide over cable.
Hold firmly and squeeze handle to drive staple.
4. Gun should be against work surface while
compressing handle.
5. Do not allow gun to bounce or recoil while
driving staple.
6. Gun is designed for securing cable to stud
grade wood only.
CAUTION: Consult the National Electrical Code and
local ordinances for safe and compliant installation.
HELPFUL HINTS
1. Use rear cable guide feet to help keep cable
straight when installing. Cable tends to have
memory and the feet will help manage cable while
installing. Fig 6.
2. A staple refill window is provided for viewing
amount of staples remaining in sleeve. Fig 7.

found on side of stapler

TROUBLESHOOTING
Jamming
• Ensure front cable guide end matches staple.
Ex: Blue staple with BLUE end of guide is down.
• Check cable guide is properly inserted. “FRONT"
imprint should be facing forward.
• Check remaining staples and remove any lodged
staples. Observe safety precautions.
