Device Overview LED Activity Status Solid red (after holding the power button) The device is turned off. Rapid flashing red (connected to a power source) The device is charging in energy-saving mode. Adjusting the Eyepiece The device features an adjustable eyepiece (+/- 4 diopter adjustment). This allows you to focus the screen for your eyesight. Rotate the eyepiece to focus the screen. Bluetooth Connected Features ® This device includes Bluetooth connected features for your compatible mobile device using the Garmin Golf™ app. Scorecard uploads to Garmin Golf: Automatically sends scorecards to the Garmin Golf app when you sync your device.
The compass arrow points to the pin location. A cone appears on the map to help orient you toward the pin. TIP: You can press any key to return to the hole view. Enabling Tournament Mode The tournament mode setting disables the PinPointer and PlaysLike distance features. These features are not allowed during sanctioned tournaments or handicap calculation rounds. 1 Select or to open the menu. 2 Select Settings > Tournament Mode.
Time Format: Sets the device to show time in a 12-hour or 24hour format. Brightness: Sets the brightness level of the backlight. Auto Standby: Adjusts the amount of time before the device automatically goes into standby mode (Standby Mode, page 1). Reset: Allows you to reset user data and settings (Restoring All Default Settings, page 5). Device Information Device Care NOTICE Do not store the device where prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures can occur, because it can cause permanent damage.
2 Disconnect the cable from your computer. Restoring All Default Settings 1 Select Settings > System > Reset. 2 Select an option: • Select Reset Default Settings to reset all of the device settings to the factory default values and save all userentered information. • Select Delete Data and Reset Settings to delete all userentered information and reset all of the device settings to the factory default values. Turning On the Device The first time you turn on the device you are prompted to choose a language, select a unit of measure, and set your driver distance. 1 Press\}. 2 Follow the on-screen instructions. The device wakes up when you hold it with your thumb in the groove on the bottom of the device or push any button. I Bluetooth• Connected Features 2 Bring your smartphone within 10 m This device includes Bluetooth connected features for your compatible mobile device using the Garmin GolfM app. Scorecard uploads to Garmin Golf: Automatically sends scorecards to the Garmin Golf app when you sync your device. This allows you to view detailed statistics and participate in online leaderboards. Wind speed and direction: Shows the wind speed and direction on the hole view screen. The wind direction is relative to the pin.
NOTE: For best results, you should hold the device steady, and align the reticle with the flag instead of the pin. 3 Press 3. The measured range to the pin appears. A red arc appears on the map at the laser-ranged distance. If the device is able to target the flag, the device vibrates, a flag icon appears, the distance arc is yellow, and the hole view map automatically transitions to a close up of the green. TIP: You can return to the hole view by pointing the device away from the green and pressing 8.

Sight Something Measuring the Distance to a Target You can use the device to measure the distance from your current position to a target, such as on a driving range. NOTE: The device can measure distances from 5 to 411 m (5.5 to 450 yd.). 1 Select Sight Something. 2 Align the rangefinder reticle with the target. 3 Press 8 . The measured range appears. TIP: You can turn the dial to browse, and press the dial to select the source. Stereo Buttons and Status LEDs • BT or USB: ◦ Press to skip to the beginning of the track or to the previous track. ◦ Hold to rewind the current track. • AM/FM: ◦ Auto or manual tuning: Press to tune to the previous station.
• Press the dial to select the highlighted option. Stereo Screen The information displayed on the screen varies depending on the source selected. This example shows a track playing on a device connected using Bluetooth wireless technology. NOTE: The screen shown is from a connected remote control, such as an Apollo ERX400. If you are using your chartplotter to control the stereo, see your chartplotter's owner's manual for more information. ® 3 Select DEVICE NAME, and enter a unique name for the device.
3 Select ZONE > PHONE VOLUME ZONE SYNC. 4 Select a zone or ALL. When you adjust the volume on the source device, the volume on the selected zone is also adjusted. Adjusting the Gain for an Auxiliary Device You can adjust the gain for a connected auxiliary device to achieve a volume level similar to that of other media sources. You can adjust the gain in 1 dB increments. You can also adjust the gain for digital sources using an optical audio connection. 1 Select an auxiliary source.
NOTE: On some Bluetooth devices, adjusting the volume on the device affects the volume level on the stereo. Bluetooth Range Information The stereo and Bluetooth wireless devices have a range of 10 m (33 ft.). Walls and obstacles between the stereo and the Bluetooth wireless device may decrease this range. Selecting a Different Bluetooth Device When you have more than one Bluetooth device paired to the stereo, you can select a different source when needed.
USB Source Settings With the USB source selected, select . REPEAT: Repeats the track or folder. SHUFFLE: Shuffles the tracks in the folder, album, or playlist. Radio To listen to AM or FM radio, you must have a suitable marine AM/FM antenna properly connected to the stereo and be within range of a broadcasting station. For instructions on connecting an AM/FM antenna, see the stereo installation instructions.

ZONE: Enables you to configure the speaker zones (Speaker Zone Settings, page 10). BRIGHTNESS: Adjusts the screen and dial backlight brightness . TUNER REGION: Sets the region used by the FM, AM, DAB, and SiriusXM sources. LANGUAGE: Sets the language on the device. DEVICE NAME: Sets a name for this stereo. TELEMUTE: Sets the behavior of the mute function when the device is connected to a hands-free mobile phone.
4 Select a zone. 5 Select MORE. 6 Select one or more options: • To limit the maximum volume output of this zone, select VOLUME LIMIT, and adjust the level. • To set the subwoofer level for this zone, select SUB LEVEL, and adjust the level. • To adjust the right and left speaker balance of this zone, select BALANCE, and adjust the balance. Power Options Select , select the name of the stereo, and select SETTINGS > POWER OPTIONS. SYSTEM OFF: Sends a signal to turn off on all devices connected to the network.
FACTORY RESET: Restores all settings to the factory default values. REFRESH NETWORK: Clears discovered stereos from the device and searches for new stereos on the network. Additional Stereo Control Options NOTE: You cannot update the stereo software using a Bluetooth connection. You must connect the app using a Wi‑Fi connection to update the stereo software wirelessly. You can connect an Apple device to the stereo using a USB cable to update the stereo software.
Link remote control app on your compatible Apple or Android device. To download the app and update the device software, go to the Apple App Store or the Google Play store. Updating the Software Using a USB Flash Drive You can update the device software using a USB flash drive. NOTICE Do not turn off the device or disconnect the power during a software update. Turning off the power during a software update may cause the device to become unresponsive.

Disconnect the vessel's power supply before beginning to install this product.
Item Description FUSE Contains the 15 A fuse for the device. USB Connects the stereo to a USB source. SXM TUNER Connects the stereo to a SiriusXM Connect Tuner to receive SiriusXM stations where available (not included). Connects to a FUSION DAB module to receive DAB stations where available (not included). DIGITAL AUDIO IN (OPTICAL) Connects the stereo to an optical digital audio source, such as TV or DVD player.
1 Route the yellow power , red ignition , and black ground wires to the battery, and route the wiring-harness plug to the stereo. Do not connect the wiring harness to the stereo until all of the bare wire connections have been made. 2 Connect the black wire to the negative (-) battery terminal. 3 If you are routing the red wire through the ignition or another manual switch , connect the red ignition wire to the ignition or switch.
