Getting Started Warning See the Important Safety and Product Information guide in the product box for product warnings and other important information. When using the device the first time, complete these tasks. 1. 2. 3. 4. The device will not charge when the battery is outside the temperature range of 41°F–104° (5°C–40°). 1. Connect the USB cable to a power source. 2. Align all four contacts on the back of the device with the four posts on the charging clip ➊. Charge the device (page 1).
When you connect the device to a power source, the device turns on, and the charging screen appears. Keys Each key has multiple functions. light/ power up 3. Charge the device completely. When the device is fully charged, the on the screen is solid. Turning On the Device Press and hold power. Press to turn on the backlight. Press and hold to turn the device on and off. Press to scroll through menus, holes, and settings. down Press to scroll through menus, holes, and settings.
Acquiring Satellite Signals You cannot start a round until the device acquires satellites. It may take 30–60 seconds to acquire satellite signals. 1. If necessary, press OK to exit power save mode. 2. Go outdoors to an open area. 3. Wait while the device searches for satellites. Starting a Round 1. From the time page, press menu. 2. Select Start Round. 3. Select a course from the list. The device automatically starts on the closest hole to your position.

Press and hold menu. 2. Select Measure Shot. 3. Walk to your ball. As you walk, the distance appears on the screen. Resetting the Distance If you do nothing, the distance value is automatically reset when you go to the next hole. 1. Press and hold menu. 2. Select Measure Shot. 3. 2. Select Odometer. The device prompts you to continue, reset the distance, or turn off. 3. Select Turn Off. Modifying Your System Settings You can modify the time of day, time format, tones, language, and units. 1. Press and hold menu. 2. Select Setup. 3. Modify the settings. Setting the Time Manually By default, the watch time is set automatically when the device acquires satellites. 1. Press and hold menu. 2. Select Setup > Time > Manual. 3. Enter the time, and press OK.
Specifications About the Battery notice The unit is waterproof to IEC Standard 60529 IPX7. It can withstand immersion in 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. Prolonged submersion can cause damage to the unit. After submersion, be certain to wipe and air dry the unit before reuse. warning This product contains a lithium-ion battery. Power Save After a period of inactivity, the device goes into power save mode. The device displays the time and date but does not use GPS. You can press OK to exit power save mode. Troubleshooting Resetting the Device If the keys or screen stop responding, you may need to reset the device. 1. Press and hold power until the screen goes blank. 2. Press and hold power until the screen turns on. Clearing User Data Press and hold menu and down simultaneously.
