3.9.4.10 GSR 56 Stand-Alone (Configuration Placeholder)

This STC does not approve the installation or configuration of the GSR 56 system.
3.9.4.11 GTX 33 Extended Squitter (ES) Option Configuration
NOTE
The GTX 33 Transponder Part Number 011-00779-10 will require an upgrade to support ES
functionality prior to enabling the GTX 33 ES Option and must be routed to the Garmin Service
Center for this upgrade. If GTX 33 ES Transponder Part Number 011-00779-30 is installed in
the aircraft, then the GTX 33 ES Option can be enabled. Reference the C90 General Arrangement
Drawing 005-00375-22 for GTX 33 Transponder LRU software and version part numbers
compatible with extended squitter functionality.
1. While in configuration mode on PFD 1 and with the loader card in the top slot of PFD 1, use the
large FMS knob to select the SYSTEM group. Select “SYSTEM UPLOAD” page using the
small FMS knob.
2. Activate cursor and rotate small knob to display drop down menu. Verify “C90-Options” is
highlighted and press ENT on PFD 1.
3. Verify cursor drops down to the file box. Rotate the small FMS knob to view the list of available
C90 options.
4. Use the FMS small knob to select “King Air C90 – GTX 33 ES Option”. Press ENT on PFD 1.
5. Verify the “King Air C90 – GTX 33 ES Option” configuration file is displayed in the “File”
window. Press “LOAD” on PFD 1.
6. Monitor load progress. Verify software load completes without errors as indicated by the
following:
a. Green “PASS” in Configuration column for GIA1, GIA2, GTX1, and GTX2.
b. “Upload Complete………….COMPLETE” in the summary box.
7. Select ENT on PFD 1 to acknowledge upload complete. Deactivate cursor.
