Using your Design sandwich Pro Before first use Before first use the sandwich maker should be preheated for ten minutes closed and the temperature control set to the highest setting. This will remove the smell typically encountered when first switching on the sandwich maker. Please ensure sufficient ventilation. Clean the appliance afterwards as described in ›Care and cleaning‹.
3. Your Design Sandwich Pro is now preheating. After approx. five minutes the green indicator light will be illuminated. The appliance is now ready for use. It is important that the heating plates are preheated and greased before the first use. After finishing the first sandwich no more greasing is necessary. Wipe the heating plates with a paper towel greased with oil. 4. Open the lid and place the prepared sandwiches (toast – filling – toast) on the lower heating plates.
Care and cleaning Always ensure that the appliance is switched off. Remove the plug from the power outlet before cleaning and storing the appliance. Allow the appliance to cool down. WARNING! Allow the appliance to cool down, before cleaning or moving the appliance. Do not place the appliance or power cord in an automatic dishwasher. Do not immerse the appliance or power cord in any liquids or spill any liquids on it. Always wipe off spilled liquids immediately.
