Warranty
We as Gatco provide a lifetime functional warranty on all of our products. If our product
fails due to a manufacturing defect, we will replace it.
Gatco provides a lifetime finish warranty to our products that are polished chrome. All
other finishes carry a limited finish warranty of 5 years. This warranty covers the
product as exposed to normal atmospheric conditions. This excludes coverage for
corrosive atmospheric conditions, such as environments prone to salt moisture
Gatco “non-core accessories” will carry a limited warranty. If these products fail due to a
defect in materials or workmanship within 1 year of original purchase, Gatco will replace
it. Non-core accessories include free standing items, sconces, and mirrors.
This warranty does not cover damage or defects due to
 Normal Wear and Tear
 Misuse
 Rust or Pitting from Water Damage (non-stainless steel items)
 Irregular Storage
 Inappropriate Handling
 Improper Installation
Commercial Warranty:
The finish and functionality warranty periods are reduced to a point of (1) year from the
date of purchase. Additionally, all implied warranties, including warranties of
merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are excluded and disclaimed.
Please be aware that not all of our products are intended to have contact with, or are
protected against water damage. This includes all items that are not crafted from
stainless steel.
