The mounting rails sit on the outside of the home and mount directly onto
the face of the exterior surface. When ordering, provide the opening sizes.
The finished product width, including hinge and latch rails, is 2.75-in larger
than the door opening (excludes Magnum). The total finished product height,
including the top rail, is 1.5-in larger than the door opening.
SURFACE MOUNT APPLICATION
SINGLE
A standard 36-in-x 80-in door is shown. The rails mount directly to
the face of the exterior brickmold and require a 1-in wide mounting
surface (38 3/4-in total mounting width). Note that the Magnum
nished width measures 38 1/8-in.
DOUBLE
A standard 72-in opening shown. 75-1/4-in actual net size. Please
allow +/– 1/8-in tolerance on width and height.

Hardware location for Gatehouse doors are gured from
the bottom up to the center of the top hole. Based on a
standard 80-in door, this measurement is 41-11/16-in.
NOTE:
Make sure that your new handle (sold separately) does not
interfere with prime door handle; always check projection
depths when purchasing hardware.
