INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Attach Bottom Door Frame

Secure Threshold Plate

Attach Bug Sweep to Bottom of Door

Attach Top Seal to Top of Door

Make any modiﬁcations to the bottom bar assembly

to ﬁt your door width and jamb size. Trim as needed.

NOTE: If “legs" do not ﬁt into the door frame tubes,

“legs" should be mounted to outer face of the door

frame tubes.

Adjust bottom bar assembly by sliding (B) in or out

of (A) so that the “legs" ﬁt into the door frame tubes.

Adjust height so that top of bottom bar is level with

existing threshold. Using a 5/32" drill bit, drill four pilot

holes through the door frame into the vertical leg as

shown. Install bottom bar using four #10 self-drilling

screws (F) as shown.

Slide threshold plate (C) over the bottom bar and into place,

extending over the existing threshold. Using a 1/8" drill bit,

drill six pilot holes through the threshold plate and into your

existing threshold. Fasten threshold plate to your existing

threshold or stoop, and to the bottom bar, using six #8 black

screws.

NOTE: Threshold plate may need to be cut to ﬁt using tin

snips, a jigsaw, or other suitable power tool.

If the bug sweep is wider than the opening of the door,

mark width of opening between left and right frame on the

bug sweep. Using a hack saw, trim bug sweep (D) at your

markings to match opening.

Measure the gap between metal ﬂange on bug sweep (D)

and threshold plate (C) at each end and at center of the door.

Using a utility knife and a straight-edge, trim bug sweep to

largest gap measurement. Mount so that ﬂexible part of bug

sweep is touching along the entire length of the threshold.

Using a 1/8" drill bit and the bug sweep (D) as a template,

drill four pilot holes in the interior-side of the door.

Attach bug sweep (D) to interior side of door using four #8

self-drilling screws (H).

Measure door width and cut top seal to ﬁt. Using 1/8" drill bit and

top seal plate (E) as a template, drill three pilot holes in top of

door.

Attach top seal plate (E) with shorter leg towards top of opening,

using three #8 self-drilling screws (H).
