Insert bootable media device See The system does not recognize a SCSI drive on
page 89 for a possible solution.
Backup your files as soon as possible.
Insufficient disk space Check the free space on the disk volume. If the volume is
full or almost full, remove unnecessary files.
Invalid configuration
information
Open the BIOS Setup utility, then make sure the settings
are correct.
Invalid password Enter your password again, make sure to enter it correctly.
Be aware that some passwords are case sensitive.
If you do not know the password, you may need to reinstall
the software you are trying to access.
Startup passwords are stored in BIOS. If this password has
been set and is unknown, you may be able to reset the
password via system board jumper settings.
Keyboard clock line failure Try a working keyboard.
Make sure that the keyboard is compatible with the system.
You may have to change the switch setting to AT.
Keyboard controller failure Try a working keyboard.
Make sure that the keyboard is compatible with the system.
You may have to change the switch setting to AT.
Keyboard not detected See The keyboard does not work on page 94 for a
possible solution.
Turn off the system, then check the keyboard cable.
Keyboard stuck key failure Remove any objects that may be resting on the keyboard,
then restart the system.
Check for sticking keys. Clean the keyboard if necessary.
Memory errors were
detected while the system
powered up
See The system detected memory errors during start up
on page 89 for a possible solution.
Memory size error Enter the BIOS Setup utility and save the memory
configuration.
Non-system disk or disk error Eject the diskette, then press E
NTER.
If the diskette is bootable, check it for errors.
Not enough memory Close all programs that are not currently in use.
Print queue is full Wait until the current print job has completed before sending
another print job.
If you receive this error often, you need to add memory to
the printer.
