1. Servicing Requirements
IMPORTANT – The glass panel on this appliance should be
checked for any signs of damage on the front face of the
glass panel (scratches, scores, cracks or other surface
defects). If damage is observed, the glass panel must be
replaced and the appliance must not be used until a
replacement is installed. Under no circumstances should the
appliance be used if any damage is observed. Please isolate
the appliance until a replacement glass panel has been
obtained and installed. Replacement glass panels can be
purchased from Gazco via the retailer from which the
appliance was purchased or any other Gazco distributor.
This appliance must be serviced at least once a year by a
competent person.
All tests must be carried out in accordance with the current
GasSafe recommendations.
1.1 Before Testing:
Conduct a gas soundness test for the property ensuring
there are no leaks before servicing.
Check the operation of the appliance before testing.
1.2 Special checks:
Clean the burner using a vacuum cleaner with a soft
brush attachment. Ensure all debris is removed from the
burner ports.
Check the flue terminal position complies with the
requirements, and that the terminal is not obstructed.
Clean away any debris under the burner.
Check the condition of ceramics, pilot and burner cover
gasket.
Ensure that the glass frame is secured correctly and that
all retaining screws are in place.
1.4 Correct any faults found during the initial tests
1.5 Re-commission the appliance in accordance with
Commissioning Procedures of these instructions.
1.6 Advise the customer of any remedial action taken.

PILOT WILL NOT LIGHT
Ensure there is no debris around the pilot assembly,
(e.g. soot, etc.) which could short the spark, clean the area.
There is a blockage in the system, check the inlet test point,
the mag seating and valve
Operate the valve.
Is there a spark?
Does the pilot light?
Is the control being
operated correctly?
Will the pilot light
with a match?
Is the gas turned on to
the appliance?
Is the gas pressure
correct?
Has the system got
any air in it?
SYSTEM OK
Consult users book
and retry
Check isolation tap
and gas meter, retry.
Correct and retry.
Purge the gas pipes
and retry
