Flashing Application Instructions for Doors

DOOR INSTALLATION

Step Three:

Install corner patch under-

neath the weather-resistive

barrier as per Detail

VCRDET-201.

Repeat on other side.

Note: Bowtie corner

patch option is shown

in photo.

For door installation detail refer to page 35 (VCRDET-200).

Step One:

Using the measurement

markings, pre-cut a 12 inch

piece of Grace Vycor Plus.

Install onto ledger board.

Step Two:

Install the weather-

resistive barrier as per

manufacturer’s recom-

mendation. Cut out the

weather-resistive barrier

from rough door opening.

Remove also from inside

bottom of sill.

Like flashing windows, Grace Vycor Plus is also

the product of choice for flashing around doors.
