5.3 Placing Text and labels
In order to have comments on a schematic for explanation texts and labels can be placed. Both have no
function for the code generation and are provided only for readability. Texts and labels are nearly identical;
the only difference is that labels are linked to blocks while texts are not.
53.1
Placing a Text
For placing a text perform the following actions:

select the menu item
Text
from the
Insert
menu. The cursor changes to four arrows pointing to the
middle.

move the mouse to the point within the schematic the text should be placed
-
click the left mouse button at this point. Now a text “Comment on scheme“ is inserted

to change the
initial
string of the text you have to modify it as decribed below.
To cancel this action, press the ESC key.
53.2 Placing a label
To insert a label the following actions have to be performed:

select the menu item
Label
from
the Insert
menu. The cursor changes.

move the mouse over the block the label should be linked to.
-
click the left mouse over this block. Now a label with the text “Comment on Block [blockname]“ is
inserted below this block.

to change the initial string you have to modify it.
To cancel this action press the
ESC
key.
5.3.3 Modif’jGng
the Text
To change a text or label, the appropriate item has to be selected by clicking the left mouse button on it. The
color of the selected item changes to red. By double-clicking or by pressing the right mouse button, a dialog is
opened for entering the new string.

Enter the new text in the
text
field. Closing the dialog by the
OK
button will change its value, while pressing
Cancel
leaves it unchanged.
A text can consist of several lines. The font cannot be changed.
5.3.4 Moving Texts or Labels
To move a text or label to a new position, first it has to be selected by clicking the left mouse button. Then by
holding down the left mouse button while moving the mouse it can be moved to a new position. The move-
ment is finished by releasing the left mouse button.
