Introduction
Command Closing Coil:
Command Close coil is used to switch ON the
Power Circuit Breaker remotely. When energized,
it releases the spring charged mechanism thus
ensuring a rapid connection of the main contacts.
The Command Close coil offers an extended
functionality in addition to all the features of the
standard closing coil. Additional connections
allow it to be wired out through the trip unit and
can be accessed electrically through the
communications bus. It also has an extra round
‘ON’ push button that fits onto the breaker front
fascia, which can be locally operated manually to
close the breaker.
