Galaxy Pulsar Edge Power System Controller

A listing of the Pulsar Edge controller options are defined in this section. Consult the controller
ordering guide (Pulsar_Edge-AD) and sales for the most complete and up-to-date listing. The
table below provides the basic naming nomenclature utilized for the different Pulsar Edge
controller configurations. Below is the naming convention used by the Pulsar Edge product
family.
ZZZ 841 A IIOR _ XXX _ YYY
Where;
ZZZ
This identifies the product family of Pulsar Edge controller.
(Valid IDs are CP, SPS, QS, and NE)
A
This identifies the controller form factor option
(A = Shelf Mount)
IIOR
IIOR identifies the input/output hardware configuration for the controller.
“II” defines the inputs and how they are configured. T
he first “I” digit
represents the number of inputs (0 through 9). The second digit represents the
type of return provided for these inputs (I=Individual Returns, C = Common
Return).
“OR” defines the outputs. The first “O” digit represents the number of alarm
outputs present (0 through 5). The second “R” digit is now fixed to be R (For
Relay).
Note: there is a dependency on the number of outputs and inputs.

These characters identify the front panel Craft port interface option installed
(Blank = standard DB9 female interface, RJ= Standard TIA RJ45, RJC= Cisco
RJ45, USB = Standard USB interface, D = Front Panel LCD user interface)
YYY
This identifies a customer or application specific software configuration
version of the controller
(Blank = Standard).
These codes are specifically assigned to an application where defaults are
clearly predefined to minimize field configuration and error
