Trouble Shooting
GPS Problems
The GPS signal status is indicated by the colour
of the ICON at the top of the display.
Green: position and heading – no faults
Yellow: position fix but no heading – no faults
Red: No GPS signal or GPS error – fault or no
signal
Is the GPS icon
Red
Does the antenna have an
unobstructed view of the sky?
Yes
Position vehicle to
have clear view of
the sky and retest
No
Does the antenna have signs of physical
damage?
Yes
Are the connectors securely tightened at the
antenna and the IVU?
Yes
Replace antenna
and retest
No
Tighten connectors
and retest
No
Is the antenna cable in good
condition (no cuts or breaks)?
Yes
Replace antenna
cable and retest
No
Contact an
authorised
representative to
inspect the system
Yes
No fault detected
by the system. If it
is not functioning
correctly contact
an authorised
representative
