Rep l a c i n g t h e l i g h t b u l bs.(on som e model s)

Unplug the refrigerator.
Th e b u l b s a r e l o c a t e d a t t h e t o p o f t h e
compartment, inside the light shield. On some
models, a screw at the front of the light shield
will have to be removed. On other models, the
screw is located in the pocket located at the
back of the light shield.
To r e m o v e t h e l i g h t sh ie l d , o n so m e m o d e l s,
press in on the tabs on the sides of the shield
and slide forward and out. On other models,
just slide the shield forward and out.
After replacing t he bulb with an appliance
bulb of the same or lower wattage, replace
the light shield and screws (on some models).
When replacing the light shield, make sure
that the tabs at the back of the shield fit into
the slots at the back of the light shield
housing.

Unplug the refrigerator.
Rem o v e t h e c on ver t i b l e m ea t d r aw er
control knob by pulling straight out.
Lift the light shield up and pull it out .
After replacing t he bulb wit h an appliance
bulb of the same or lower wattage, replace
the shield and the knob.

Unplug the refrigerator.
Rem o v e t h e s h el f j u st a bo v e t h e l ig h t sh i el d .
(The sh el f w i ll be ea si er t o r em ove if it is
emptied first.) On some models, a screw at
the top of the light shield will need to be
removed.
To r e m o v e t h e l i g h t sh ie l d , p re ss i n o n t h e
sides, and lift up and out.
Re p l a c e t h e b u l b w i t h a n a p p l i a n c e b u l b
of the same or lower wattage, and
reinstall the light shield. When
reinstalling the light shield, make sure
the top tabs snap securely into place.
Re p l a c e t h e s c r e w (o n s o m e m o d e ls ).
Re i n s t a l l t h e s h e l f a n d p l u g t h e
refrigerator back in.

WARNING
Before replacing a burned-out light bulb, the refrigerator should be unplugged in order to avoid contact with a
live wire filament. (A burned-out light bulb may break when being replaced.)
